CAPDTC holds gala to greet New Year

China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture (CAPDTC) held an evening gala in Beijing for the oncoming Spring Festival as well as Tibetan Earth Rat New Year on January 30. Zhu Weiqun, executive vice minister of the CPC United Front Work Department and vice chairman as well as secretary-general of CAPDTC, Sita, vice minister of the CPC United Front Work Department and vice chairman of CAPDTC, attended the gala, together with some other officials, scholars, experts, journalists and editors from related circles.

As a nationwide nonprofit public body granted as UN Consultative Status for Economic and Social Council, China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture (CAPDTC) is founded on June 21, 2004 as a non-governmental organization consisting of volunteers both from home and abroad who love Tibetan culture and care for its preservation and development.
