The Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region, will show locals delicate butter flowers every January 15 according to the Tibetan calendar, which has a history of over 600 years.

Made with iron moulds and high techniques, butter flowers express a wide range of contents including stories such as Buddhism stories and drama stories, the nature such as flowers and animals, as well as figures such as Buddhas and heroes.
