Tibet stresses winter tourism

The local government of Tibet Autonomous Region kickes off the "Snow mountain, Blue sky" winter tourism strategy nationwide in winter to further develop the tourism low season.

Travelling along the road from Lhasa Gonggar Airport to Lhasa, blue sky, snow maintain, clear river, mallard and waterfowl gamboling in the river which are not available in other seasons give rise to Tibet's unique scenery.
Since October 20, Tibet has implemented award policy for travel agencies to organize tours to Tibet for boosting winter tourism development and now, Tibet is about to meet another climax of tourism as more and more travellers flock into Tibet.
