Tibet is to bring a large scale Tibetan drama to celebrate the coming 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China to Beijing, September 15.
The Tibetan drama, named "Zhaxigang", will be staged in Beijing on September 15 and 16 as part of a celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture and Department of Publicity.
"Zhaxigang", tells how people in a small village named Zhaxigang shake off poverty and live a well-off life under the lead of their village head, reflecting the achievements made in the farming and animal husbandry areas over the last five decades.
It once put on in Beijing at an activity to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet, winning positive comments from the audience.
Moreover, artists of the drama will take part in a parade marking the 60th anniversary.
