A training class was held in Nyemo County to help more Tibetan women learn the knowledge about women's health care. 53 grass-roots women officials have participated in this training class cosponsored by Nyemo Women's Federation and the office of family planning.
The knowledge about "Marriage Law", women's health care, prenatal and postnatal care have been introduced by Wodron Wangmo, director of Lhasa office of family planning and Ren Zhuoyong, doctor from Lhasa Maternal and Child Health Hospital.
Moreover, contraceptive pills worthy of 2,000 yuan and Tibetan (Chinese) version health brochures have been handed out.
