The ruins of Guge Kingdom is situated at a 300-meter-high hill with over 300 caves and destroyed earth buildings in Zhada County in the west tip of Ngari Prefecture of the Tibet Autonomous Region. The kingdom came into existence against nature in a desolate plateau 4,000 meters above sea level and lasted for over 700 years. It suddenly disappeared in 1635.
