Feature: Chinese Tibetologists visit Edinburgh

Shen Kaiyun(M), the leader of Chinese Tibetologists delegation is introducing the Tibet's development, photo from CTIC.

A Chinese Tibetologists delegation led by Shen Kaiyun, deputy director of China Tibetan Culture Exchange Association arrived in UK on November 18, and visited the Samye Ling Monastery (Built in 1967), the center of Tibetan Buddhism in south Scotland on Nov 19.

Chinese students studying at Napier University in Edinburgh and Chinese Tibetologists have heated discussions. Chinese Tibetologists delegation introduced the Tibet's development and progress. Some local students said:" Tibetologists' visit helps young people in Scotland learn more information about Tibet. We wish one day we can visit Tibet."
