The Tibetan medicine industry development strategy seminar was held in Lhasa on Dec 1 with Dekyi, vice chairman of TAR delivering a speech.

"Tibetan medicine as a unique treasure of Chinese medical treasure house plays an active role in the treatments of many intractable diseases. It has been viewed as one of the six characteristic industries in our region, but still has a large gap with the domestic advanced medicine level. I hope through this seminar, experts and scholars could explore the new ideas, and provide effective measures to promote the development of Tibetan medicine industry, " Dekyi said.

Besides, expanding the size of Tibetan medicine market, supporting the advantage enterprises, and building strong brands will be the key tasks for enterprises in future.
