Tibet invests one bln on low-rent houses

 


Zangji is cleaning her new apartment in the low-rent residential area, Dec 16.

The government has allotted one billion yuan in the construction of low-rent housing to improve the people's living conditions since 2006. By the end of 2010, the local government will expand the areas of subsidized housing construction to better Tibetans' livelihood.
