The closing ceremony of Third Session of Lhasa 9th CPPCC was held in Lhasa on Dec 16 with Qin Yizhi, secretary of Lhasa Municipal Party Committee, Losangjigme, vice chairman of Lhasa CPPCC in attendance and Yang Wanfu, chairman of Lhasa Municipal Party Committee delivering a speech.

Yang said:" It's a democratic, united, truth-seeking meeting. All the members should adapt to the challenges, make efforts to solve the concerned problems for local citizens, strengthen mechanisms management, give full play to the advantages of CPPCC, and make contributions to building up Lhasa as a peaceful, harmony, and ecological city. "
The meeting received 93 proposals including 8 collective proposals, 9 members signed jointly proposals and 76 members' personal proposals. Agricultural issues and personal skill trainings and utilization of energy resources, tourism resources become the focus of the proposals.
