Fund of Alpine Culture of Tibet sets up in Beijing

Jointly sponsored by celebrities in field of mountaineering in China, the Fund of Alpine Culture of Tibet was officially set up in Beijing on December 18.

The Fund, a public foundation, is set up to carry out and help welfare projects on alpine culture in Tibet.

To launch scientific research, publicizing, education, professional training and academic exchange in field of culture, environment and scientific investigation, are also job of the fund.

The fund will also award individuals and units who make excellent contributions in boosting the development of culture, environment and scientific investigation.
