Nyingchi peach blossoms 'bloom' in Dongguan, Guangdong

A photo exhibition named "The Place Where Peach Blossoms Bloom" was kicked off on Feb. 7 with an aim of offering the blooming peach blossom scenery of Nyingchi, southeast Tibet to local citizens in Dongguan, a city in China's Guangdong Province.

Organized by Tibet Nyingchi County Committee, Dongguan Photographers' Association and Dongguan Exhibition Hall, the exhibition displays 110 photos taken by members of Dongguan Photographers' Association reflecting the blooming peach blossoms, wild peach trees, simple Tibetan houses and white snowy mountains of Nyingchi.

In last three or four years, over 100 members of 4 Dongguan Photographers' Association have gone to Nyingchi to take pictures. "Another exhibition will be displayed during the Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival next March or April and all the works then will be donated to Nyingchi locals," said Chen Jinbo, an aid Tibet cadre from Dongguan.
