Hosted by Tibet Photographers Association, China's Tibet Mt.Qomolangma Photo Exhibition will be held at the Potala Palace Square during Shoton Festival in Lhasa this year, according to a press conference.

Themed as "The roof of the world, fascinating Tibet", the photo exhibition will unveil Tibet's distinct spectacular landscape and traditional folk customs and Tibet's new look since the reform and opening up are carried in the autonomous region to the world. It reflects the new life that all the people enjoy in Tibet with the great support from local and central government of China.

The exhibition is the first large scale photo exhibition that Tibet will hold. There will be 330 photo works on show at the Potala Palace Square as the main site, the second exhibition site will be in Tibet Museum and 650 works will be displayed.

The exhibition will also invite famous photographers from both home and abroad to attend with their focused subjects works.
